A weekend experience on the lessons of forgiveness from A Course in Miracles in a joyfully focused, healing sanctuary with Simon Christopher in Ealing, West London.
Saturday & Sunday, February 24th & 25th – 10:00am to 5:00pm daily.
True forgiveness is the means by which we learn the truth about ourselves where we realize the false condition of separation is undone, the past is over and has had no effects. Forgiveness is unneeded when the work is done and we stand in glory as the light of the world. Until then it is the only meaningful endeavour worthy of our efforts for it is the means to release our minds from entrapment in illusions.
“It is impossible to forgive another, for it is only your sins you see in him. You want to see them there, and not in you. That is why forgiveness of another is an illusion. Yet it is the only happy dream in all the world; the only one that does not lead to death. Only in someone else can you forgive yourself, for you have called him guilty of your sins, and in him must your innocence now be found. “ ACIM S.2.I.4
This is a course in awakening the memory of the eternal Self, already healed and whole, without the false condition of sin or guilt, created perfect by Perfection and in Love like Itself.
Forgiveness is the means by which all obstacles to this memory are undone in the mind. The forgiving find spontaneous peace and joy in their changed perceptions. Forgiveness systematically replaces the ego’s interpretations until forgiveness is complete. Therefore, all things are lessons in forgiveness, our one overarching need and consequently the one overarching need of this world.
