The Great Release of Power

A weekend experience on the essential teachings and lessons of A Course in Miracles, in a joyfully focused healing sanctuary for awakening the light of Christ, with Simon Christopher in Ealing, West London.
Saturday & Sunday, March 29th & 30th – 10:00am to 5:30pm daily.
The world was made to be a cause and you its effect. Yet God is the only Cause and the world is causeless in and of itself. The purpose of perception is to give a cause to effects and deny the true cause and effect relationship with the perceiver, and mind as cause. The change of purpose the Holy Spirit brings takes the cause away from the mind’s effects and returns it to the mind, which it has not left. And in this way power that was given away is returned to the maker who is no longer a victim, suffering the seemingly arbitrary and chaotic effects without the mistake of giving cause to its own effects.
Forgiveness reverses the effect and cause relationship you have with the world you see, in order that all the effects of fear are undone. The purpose of perception now is to transform the mind by reversing that effect and cause relationship and release the power given away to the phenomenal world of others and the “10,000” objective things.
All healing and healing power lies in the understanding and application of the lesson as we accept God as our Cause and welcome back into the mind His creative power which is restored to our awareness.
“The Holy Spirit teaches one lesson, and applies it to all individuals in all situations. Being conflict-free, He maximizes all efforts and all results. By teaching the power of the Kingdom of God Himself, He teaches you that all power is yours. Its application does not matter. It is always maximal. “ ACIM T.7.III.1
The plan of the curriculum is a great reversal of perception, restoring the correct cause and effect relationship. This returns the power to the mind where real change can occur. Forgiveness is only possible once each “problem” is brought back to its source in the mind. Now the Holy Spirit can help us by showing the alternative, a healed perception that reflects the true Cause and Effect relationship of Creator and Creation. All healing comes from the true Cause, with its effect the healing power of spiritual sight that brings release and healing to all.
The power that is inherent in Who and What we are has been squandered, denied and given away to the gods and idols made as substitutes. These gods and idols are worshipped for the power they seem to have, leaving us impotent against their effects. Once we are ready to accept back the power we have thrown away, having invested it outside ourselves, outside the mind, that power is ours to undo all we made apart from God, and accept that Truth alone is true. We are entitled to miracles simply because God is fact and all power lies in the reality of our relationship we have with Him. And He has not left us or rescinded the power given to us in our creation.
