Our safety is the life\, the light and the glory we share with the Creator in the Heaven of His perfect love. The Ark of Peace reflects the unity of Heaven within the dreaming of a world of separation from which we are now awakening. It is the only real place of shelter\, safety and surety\, where our peace is founded on understanding the true nature of the relationship we have with “others”.A rainbow represents a promise made by God in the biblical story of Noah and the Ark. The other biblical ark\, the “Ark of the covenant”\, was a revered religious receptacle\, lost to antiquity\, kept in the “Holy of Holies”\, the innermost chamber of the Temple of Jerusalem. The author of the Course creatively reimagines the idea of the ark incorporating an ancient mystical symbol into the spiritual mind-training curriculum of A Course in Miracles\, linking the new and the old.In relationship made holy by true purpose (the purpose of complete forgiveness) where the goal of peace is set\, and where the lessons of the Atonement plan are laid\, we will find our way to the lost Ark\, the “Holy of the Holies”\, – our remembrance we are one with God. For in each one we meet or even think about is our whole awakening preserved\, awaiting the willingness to accept and to know them in the light of reality. The Son of God must first be seen and known by each one\, wholly blessed\, wholly appreciated and loved\, before knowledge of the Father is revealed. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Whom God has joined cannot be separated\, and God has joined all His Sons with Himself. Can you be separated from your life and your being? The journey to God is merely the reawakening of the knowledge of where you are always\, and what you are forever. It is a journey without distance to a goal that has never changed.” ACIM T.8.VI.9 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTruth restores the Peace of God to minds in which it had been obscured. Yet the truth must be acceptable for until now its opposite has been upheld as the preferred choice in place of peace. The mystical Ark of Peace is entered two-by-two\, by those who recognize that in relationship lie the lessons that will free us from the desire to remain apart in chaos and isolation. The cost of denying reality is enormous\, yet forgiveness is a price we gladly pay to regain our sanity and the mystery of our true relationship with the eternal. God is calling to the Son\, whose other name is you. Now is the time to hear his Word and accept the means by which the gap between illusions and the truth is seen for what it is that it may disappear.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“A space where God is not\, a gap between the Father and the Son is not the Will of Either\, Who have promised to be one. God’s promise is a promise to Himself\, and there is no one who could be untrue to what He wills as part of what He is. The promise that there is no gap between Himself and what He is cannot be false. What will can come between what must be one\, and in Whose Wholeness there can be no gap?“ ACIM T.8.VI.9 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe ego’s purpose is to demonstrate separation is everlasting\, a continuity of conflict\, problems\, suffering\, with the inevitability of death its certainty. For the glory of the truth that we are God’s One Creation is inconceivable in the illusion that reality is separation. The life of the body proves a definite gap between all things\, and the mind is equally separated. Here can we find no safety\, security\, or certainty. Only the illusion of love seems to offer its “comfort”\, fear lurks behind each shadowy form\, and peace a fleeting moment\, a “qualified entente” in a hostile\, arbitrary and chaotic world. The miracle is means to teach ourselves the truth there is no space\, no distance or time that could represent the slightest gap between our minds and any other mind\, or between Creator and created. La mente conceptual no puede concebir lo que es obvio\, establece para siempre una distancia objetiva y dota de significado al “objeto”\, la cosa\, la situación\, la circunstancia. Lo que es evidente está más allá de lo objetivo\, está dentro de uno mismo y no aparte\, más allá o fuera. El Amor de Dios debe ser seguramente el estado más obvio posible que puede ser conocido\, amado y comprendido en todo el universo viviente de la verdad\, y sin embargo es oscuro\, es temido\, considerado como una amenaza y defendido contra él. \nEl milagro es simple y obvio\, se extiende desde lo perfecto. The conceptual mind cannot conceive of what is obvious\, it forever establishes an objective distance and endows meaning to the “object”\, the thing\, the situation\, the circumstance. What is obvious lies beyond the objective\, it lies within yourself and not apart\, beyond or outside. The Love of God must surely be the most obvious state possible that can be known\, loved and understood in all the living universe of truth\, yet it is obscure\, it is feared\, regarded as a threat and defended against. \nThe miracle is simple and obvious\, extending from the perfect. We have the means now to see only what is obvious and not fall into confusion because there seems to be something we must struggle to understand instead. What is obvious is recognized instantly\, without any need for time to process what is recognized.
